Petra Moreno

Petra Vasquez Moreno of Midland passed away Friday, December 8, 2017, in Odessa at the age of 95 years. She was born on April 27, 1922, in Marathon, Texas, to Jesus and Virginia Vasquez.
Petra is survived by her daughter, Bellia Moreno Martinez; her grandchildren, Arlene Hickson, Albert Ray Moreno, Deanna Moreno, Jason Moreno, Vannessa Moreno, Michaela Martinez, James Martinez; and her fifteen great grandchildren.
Petra is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Alberto H. Moreno Sr.; her sons, Alberto Moreno Jr., James Moreno; her brothers and sisters.
Visitation will be on Tuesday, December 12th, 2017, from 11-7pm with rosary beginning at 7pm at Heritage Funeral Home in Fort Stockton, Texas. Funeral service will be on Wednesday, December 13th, 2017, beginning at 10:30am at Saint Joseph Church in Fort Stockton, Texas with Father Serafin Avenido officiating. Burial will follow at Fort Stockton Catholic Cemetery.
