Ramon Vargas

Ramon E. Vargas was received into heaven on Thursday, November 14th, 2019, at the age of 64 surrounded by his family and all those that loved him dearly. He was born March 9th, 1955, in Hondo, Texas. He was preceded in death by his parents Rosendo Vargas and Dominga Ybarra; his brother Joe Vargas and his sister Martina Vargas Rivera.

He is survived by his wife, his amour, Irene De La Fuente Vargas; sons Ramon Vargas Jr. and Rossi Vargas; daughter Cynthia Hernandez and husband Javier of Midland, TX; his brothers Rosendo Vargas Jr., Raymundo Vargas, Ruvin Vargas, and Ralph Vargas; his sister Lydia Vargas Olguin; his grandchildren Klaryssa D. Hernandez, Santiago J. Hernandez, Mileena R. Vargas, Alicia J. Vargas, and Jaden R. Vargas; his two great-grandchildren Solana and Lucas; and many beloved nieces and nephews.  His family in Colorado had a special place in his heart.

Ramon was a self-taught man who enjoyed his music, carpentry, hobbies, and spending time with his loved ones.  He was loved by all his nieces and nephews.  He was a friend to all and was known for being a jokester.

There will be a visitation Monday, November 18th, 2019, from 1:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Heritage Funeral Home with a Rosary starting at 7:00 p.m.  A funeral service will be held on November 19th, 2019, at 2:00 p.m. at Heritage Funeral Home, 301 N. Main, Fort Stockton, Texas.
