Roberto Monsivais

Roberto C. Monsivais Sr. of Fort Stockton passed away Thursday August 4th, 2016, in Fort Stockton at the age of 67 years. Robert was born on August 7, 1948, in Mexico, his parents were Roque Olvera and Olivia Cruz Olvera.
Robert is survived by his wife, Graciela Monsivais; his son, Robert Monsivais Jr. and Hilda of Fort Stockton; his daughters, Minerva Valdez and husband Manuel of Midland, Lucy Garrison and husband Greg of Fort Stockton, Gracie Natividad and husband Manuel of Fort Stockton, Noemi Lopez and husband Wilder of Fort Stockton; his brother, Jesse Monsivais of San Antonio; his sister, Carmela Lopez of Texarkana; his fifteen grandchildren; and his eleven great grandchildren.
Robert is preceded in death by parents, Epifanio Monsivais, Roque Olvera and Olivia Cruz Olvera; his son, David Monsivais; his brother, Eddie Olvera; his sisters, Maria Elena Rios, Elisa T. Reyna, Ofelia Cervatez, and Maria Felix Gomez.
Visitation will be on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, August 5th through August 7th 2016, from 11:00 a.m. - 7:00 p.m. at heritage Funeral Home in Fort Stockton, Texas. Funeral service will begin at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, August 8th, 2016, at Heritage Funeral Home in Fort Stockton, Texas. Burial will be at East Hill Cemetery in Fort Stockton, Texas.
