Rosie “Chayo” Coronado entered rest on November 17, 2020 after a two-year fight against cancer. She was born on January 1, 1952 in Fort Stockton, Texas, to Margarito and Jesusita Gomez. She married Roberto Coronado in Sept 1977 at the age of 25 but was widowed by the age of 46. Strong willed and independent, she was able to raise two young boys, one 16, the other 9, who love her very much, into two hard working, respectable young men. Rosie was an extremely hard worker, working in the caregiving profession for 50 years, caring for both children and adults. Her strong work ethic in combination with her selfless, kindhearted, and loving nature, made her very well know within the community. Rosie’s characteristic of always putting others needs before her own extended well beyond her family and friends, often touching the lives of those she cared for. Rosie lived a life of hardship, but always stayed strong and true in her faith. When she wasn’t working, which wasn’t very often, she loved spending time with family, especially her five grandchildren who were the joy of her life. Rosie was a truly amazing person, the type of person this world needs more of, which makes Rosie’s death the worlds loss, and heavens gain.
