Sharon Morgan, a beloved member of the Fort Stockton community and cherished family matriarch, passed away peacefully on September 21, 2024, at the age of 77. Born on January 21, 1947, Sharon's life was a testament to kindness, faith, and love as she touched the hearts of all who knew her.

Sharon a dedicated greeter and cashier at Walmart, where she welcomed countless customers with her warm smile and genuine spirit. Her bright personality made her a favorite among both colleagues and patrons. She embodied a sense of community, always ready with a kind word or a listening ear.

Educated at John Adams High School, from which she graduated in 1965, Sharon carried the values instilled in her throughout her life. Her commitment to her faith was profound; she loved playing the accordion and piano at church, sharing her musical talent to uplift others and enhance the worship experience.

One of Sharon’s proudest accomplishments was not just in music or her career but in sharing the message of Jesus with everyone she met. Her faith was the cornerstone of her life, guiding her in her interactions and inspiring those around her.

Sharon's family was her greatest joy, and she leaves behind her loving husband, Eugene Morgan. Together, they nurtured a home filled with laughter and love. She is survived by her devoted children, son David Eugene Morgan of Fort Stockton, Texas, and daughter Deborah Morgan of Tucumcari, New Mexico. Sharon adored her grandson, Brock Anthon Beadce of Portales, New Mexico, who brought her immense pride and happiness.

She will be missed deeply by her siblings: sisters Rebecca Wilson (Ron) of Southbend, Indiana, Maryann Rock (Gail) of Phenix, Arizona, Faith Baker of Southbend, Indiana, Gloria Waddel of Fort Stockton, Texas; and brothers Tom Holcomb and Nathan Holcomb (Beverly) of Atmore, Alabama. Each shared a unique bond with Sharon, a bond filled with cherished memories and laughter.

Sharon joins her beloved deceased brother, Daniel Paul Holcomb, in eternal peace. The love they shared will forever resonate in the hearts of their family.

A vibrant woman of faith, a loving wife and mother, and a cherished friend, Sharon Morgan’s legacy will live on in the hearts of all she encountered. May she rest in peace, knowing she made a profound difference in the lives of everyone she touched.
