Silbestre Rosas

Silbestre (Bobby) Rosas of Odessa, Texas passed away Tuesday, August 20th, 2019, at the age of 69. He was born on June 12th, 1950 to Faustino Rosas Sr. and Sarah Y Rosas.

Silbestre is survived by his wife, Esperanza Baez Rosas, and sons Bobby Rosas, Jr. and spouse Christina of Monahans, Texas, Marco Castillo and spouse Patricia of Harlingen, Texas, and Ramiro Reyna of Brownsville, Texas. He is also survived by daughters Sonia Nunn and spouse Fred of Monahans, Texas, RosaLinda R. Johnson of Denver Colorado, Gloria A. Rosas and spouse Jason of Odessa, Texas, and Melissa Rosas of Brownsville, Texas, and brother Rene Rosas and spouse Ana of Fort Stockton, Texas, sisters Dora Bustamante of Fort Stockton, Texas, Erlinda Velasquez and spouse Raymond of Fort Stockton, Texas, Norma Aguirre of Lubbock, Texas and Gloria Jean Hernandez of Midland, Texas, twenty grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his father, Faustino Rosas Sr. and his mother, Sarah Y. Rosas.

Pallbearers will be Damien Nunn, Tyler Vela, Jeremy Porras, Pete Vela Jr., Bobby Rosas III, Justin T. Hernandez, Noe Lujan, and Eddie Bustamante.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Lazaro Sauceda, Jason Covarrubias, Dwight Grossett, Bobby Antwaun Nunn, Lucio Reyna, Clemente Castillo, Ramiro Reyna Jr., Raymundo Reyna, and Tyler Cullum.

Visitation and Rosary will be held from 11AM- 7PM, on Monday, August 26, 2019 at Heritage Funeral Home, 301 N. Main, Fort Stockton, Texas. Services will held at 10AM on Tuesday, August 27st, at Our Lady of the Guadalupe, Downtown Campus, Fort Stockton, Texas formerly known as St. Joseph Catholic Church. Burial will follow at Fort Stockton Catholic Cemetery.
