Her role was more than just a job; it was a commitment to children and their education, creating a nurturing environment as they traveled to and from school. Silvia's warmth and smile had a way of brightening the day of everyone she encountered. Silvia attended Butz Elementary School in Fort Stockton, a place that would forever hold a special portion of her heart. Her formative years were filled with laughter and the values that would shape her into the wonderful woman she became. Family was always at the forefront of her life, and she took immense pride in being a loving mother and grandmother. She leaves behind her devoted children: Isabel Hernandez (Luis), Pete Gonzalez (Jeannie), Mary Pacheco, Charlie Gonzalez (Velma), Mary Alice Granado (Frank), and Nellie Kanske (Jon). Silvia cherished her six grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren, each one a sparkling gem in her life’s treasure. Her strength, love, and guidance will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her. Silvia was preceded in death by her parents, Heriberto and Margarita T. Gonzalez, and her beloved husband, Baldomero Quilo. Their memories will forever remain a guiding light, illuminating the legacy of love and compassion that Silvia has bestowed upon her family. In remembering Silvia, those she leaves behind will hold onto the beautiful moments shared and the lessons learned from a life well-lived.
