Teodora Lopez

Teodora Duran (Lola) Lopez passed away Monday, November 23, 2015, in Fort Stockton at the age of 86 years. Teodora was born on January 14, 1929, to Ismael Duran and Valentina Salazar de Duran in Muzquiz, Coahuila, Mexico.

Teodora is survived by her husband Mario O. Lopez; two sons, Erbey Jesus Lopez and wife Blanca of St. Bernardino, CA, and Mario Ismael Lopez and wife Damiana of Fort Stockton; her daughter Maria Gonzalez and husband Manuel of Fort Stockton; her twelve grandchildren, sixteen great-grandchildren, and many nephews and nieces.

Teodora was preceded in death by her father and mother Ismael and Valentina de Duran; daughter Carolina Duran Lopez; two brothers, Ignacio Duran and Jesus (Nino) Duran; three sisters, Maria de Jesus Duran, Paula Duran, and Maria Duran.

Visitation will be on Thursday, November 26th, 2015 from 3p.m. to 7p.m. at Heritage Funeral Home in downtown Fort Stockton. Rosary will be recited at 7:00pm. A Mass of Christian burial will take place on Friday, November 27th, 2015, starting at 10:30 a.m., at St. Agnes Catholic Church in Fort Stockton. Burial will follow at Fort Stockton Catholic Cemetery.
