William Auchmoody

William Auchmoody, 65, passed away Sunday, June 30, 2013. William was born November 22, 1947 in Cameron, Texas. Son to Wallace Auchmoody and Minta Hairston Auchmoody. William Accomplished many things in his life and considered himself blessed. He had served in the Vietnam War and retired honorably after 23 years of service from the army. He had also been a volunteer fireman with the Tonganoxie Kansas fire department. A senior overtheroad driver and instructor, master mechanic who loved his tools. William worked hard and honest his entire life. He is described by those who knew and love him as The Rock, a warrior, Patriotic, Resilient and compassionate. He was a devoted husband and family man. William will remain forever dear to those who knew and loved him. He is survived by his wife, Jennifer Auchmoody sisterinlaw Carol Luciano four stepchildren he loved and raised as his own, Elizabeth Cole, Luis Nieves, Adam and Ameena Ezzouhairy.
