William "Bill" Bailey

William (Bill) Bailey, 85, beloved Father and grandpa, was called to his eternal resting place on October 28, 2021.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, November 5, 2021, 2:00 pm at Heritage Funeral Home of The Big Bend, 301 N. Main St, Fort Stockton, TX 79735.
Burial will follow at East Hill Cemetery.
He entered this world on August 26, 1936, in Iraan, TX, born to Donald and Dorothy Bailey.
Bill was an avid golfer; he loved to dance and loved wine Wednesday with the ladies. He was also a knife maker and established “Bailey Made Knives” during his time. He loved going to the ranch and most importantly he loved hunting. Bill was a loving husband, dad and grandfather.
Bill was preceded in death by his wife of 44 years, Donna Faye Bailey and his grandsons, Blaine Coldwell, and Rodney Peters, one sister, Kathryn Gilbert and four brothers, Don Richard, Jim, Jackie and Jerry.
He is survived by his daughter Chris Peters of Fort Stockton; daughter D'Anne (Derek) Asleson of Horizon City; daughter Marie Bailey of Waco, Texas; grandchildren Colby (Monika) Ledford of Laramie, Wyoming; Becky Shuster (Stanley) of Bennett, Colorado; Sheena Peters of Hope, Arkansas; Zack Asleson of Las Vegas, Nevada and Logan Asleson of Horizon City, Texas; great grandchildren, Dakota, Kimmie and Brailynn; sister Barbara (Rudy) Orosco; sister Pat (Lawrence) Schneider and brother, John (LaNelle) Bailey.
Arrangements are entrusted to Heritage Funeral Home of The Big Bend Fort Stockton.
